Are you getting hitched? If you can’t decide between a Gerbera or a Geranium, or whether shabby is still chic then read on, we’ve got you covered!

This year it is all about ‘Vintage Glamour’ but with a twist. Think, twinkling fairy lights and candles whilst going big and over the top with ornate centrepieces.
Forget your big country houses and stately homes, this year the perfect backdrop seems to be Warehouse Industrial luxe. Any place with a large plot of land or a distinct building — or both — will allow you to really personalise your wedding.
If you don’t have a nice Warehouse to hand, why not go for a bell tent, or woodland space, something that can really be dressed up.

Soft pink still remains one of the most popular choices for the colour palette this year. You can mix this up a bit with the ever-beautiful rose gold. Whether it is on the runners on the table, or a detail on the bridesmaid dresses.

Flowers are always one of the main focuses at any wedding, so it’s important to get it right. 2017 sees the return of softer petal flowers like peonies and roses. Dress them up in large trumpet style glass vase or go for a more relaxed look with peonies scattered across the tables with a hanging floral arrangement, they create an instant wow factor!

Food Glorious Food… Food Truck! That’s right I said it. Sliders, paella, kebab, burritos, pizza! How often do you sit there and think ooh I could really go for a 5 course that just must include a chicken dish…you just don’t.
You want something that can be shared, a talking point, or a dish that you would pick if you were ordering for yourself in a restaurant. Think fun, be creative!
And whilst we are on the subject of creative, why not ditch the set pudding and set up several grazing dessert stations so guests can mingle and sample, like a cocktail hour! Why limit yourself to one pudding when you can have 5! Doughnut Deli, Mini meringues, macaroons, the list of possibilities is endless.

If you really want to do something out of the ordinary you could always ask your guests to participate in a ‘bake off’ style challenge and bring the desserts for the stations!
February Cake
Traditional cakes do seem to be making a come back, but with a twist on the flavours, some including pink champagne, key lime and the oh so yummy salted caramel. One style of cake that is proving really popular is the ‘Drip’ Cake, and I have to say they do look rather special!

And finally on to possibly the most important part of the day… after the vows of course, THE DRESS!
If white and lace are not for you then you are in luck as Colour and Satin are set to replace.
Pastel colours such as blue, pink and lilac are taking centre stage, with satin really adding a Old-School Hollywood glamour vibe.
Bows are also going to be big. Bold or subtle the choice is yours. Whether it be in the hair, or a small detail to the waistline, or go crazy and have them everywhere, certainly a great choice for the girlier girls amongst us.

So there you have it, this year certainly seems to be testing a lot of new and exciting trends, all of which look sure to wow your guests. Have fun with the planning and whatever you choose, make sure you enjoy your special day.
